At Abbot's lagoon we were walking back from the beach after a
fog had rolled in.
We deliberately walked in the dark, without flashlights.
When you are like that, away from all the technology and
modern conveniences,
away from all the petty worries of everyday life, you
experience a calm unlike any other.
The sounds around you disappear and time
appears to stand still. For an instant you become one with nature and understand
all that is. With that understanding comes a calm and absolute peace that goes
straight to the core of your being.
It is a feeling without equal.
