2001 Orca Salmon Forest

In British Colombia, all of the members of
the Canisius Ambassadors for Conservation were struck by the beauty of the
area.
Each one of us was able to reflect upon the things that we had seen and
experienced while in the Pacific Northwest.
We all took back different life
lessons from our studies, but one theme prevailed.
Each of us learned just how
important conservation really is.
Life is connected, and anything that we do
can affect other living things.
In order to keep the rare and beautiful Pacific
Northwest ecosystem alive, we all must promote the preservation
of the forests
and the oceans and the delicate balance which exists between them.
