2003 Tropical Rainforest

While in the tropics, the Canisius Ambassadors for Conservation were able to experience first-hand the beauty and majesty of tropical forests.  Each one of us was able to reflect upon the things that we had seen and experienced while in Costa Rica. We all took back different life lessons from our studies, but one theme prevailed.  Each of us learned just how important conservation really is.  Life is connected, and anything that we do can affect other living things.  In order to keep the rare and beautiful tropical rainforests alive, we all must promote the preservation of the forests and be conscious of actions that we can take in our daily lives that can help to preserve them.
