In Spanish, “Costa Rica” means “rich coast”.  I can’t think of a more appropriate name for a
country so rich in a wide variety of plant and animal species.  After spending some time exploring the treasures of Costa Rica,
I can’t wait to return home and share some of my favorite memories.
Unfortunately, if the destruction of the tropical rainforest continues at its current pace,
memories may be all that is left of this beautiful place in a few short years.  Following my experience in Costa Rica,
I want to impart my love of the tropical rainforest onto others, in the hopes that they too will want to help conserve this beautiful and diverse area.
