CAC has given me what will most likely be one of the best experiences of my life.
Not even in a perfect dream could I have imagined the beautiful places that I have seen on our trip to the California coast.
I have learned so much more about marine mammals, and have fallen in love with them.
Witnessing a mammal in its wild habitat is one of the most moving and inspiring experiences I imagine one can have.
To come to an appreciation of how these mammals live, and the challenges they face is extremely rewarding.
But understanding that we, as human beings, can help in the easiest of ways, is perhaps the most rewarding of all.
I challenge anyone to travel the California coast, experience the breathtaking scenery, witness the marine mammal wildlife,
and not be humbled and taken back.  After being surrounded by the simplistic, magical nature of this earth,
I have found myself with an unbelievable sense of love and devotion to respecting it and
preserving it for the many generations that will come after me.  One of the greatest gifts you can give
someone is something you yourself love with your whole heart and are passionate about.
To me, my gift to others is sharing the knowledge and experience I have gained on this CAC trip.
I feel truly blessed beyond belief, and hope that my children and grandchildren will have
the honor and privilege of viewing the earth’s creations as I have.
It breaks my heart to leave this place, but I know I’ll never forget it, because when you
love something as much as I love this place, it becomes a giant part of you—forever.
