After visiting such a truly awesome place as the Pacific Northwest,
I am reminded of our individual responsibility to keep this area pristine. 
 From the majestic, towering trees in the temperate rainforests to the beautiful killer whales,
this is a truly unique place on earth.  It is amazing to think that one human could possibly help preserve this area. 
However, since everything is interconnected, conserving just one area can help another. 
It is powerful to think that just by recycling we are not only saving the forests, but helping the orcas too.
