Seeing the birds in
all their glory in the foreground and the humans in the background
makes me realize how thin the line is between our ability to protect
the wildlife on this earth and the destruction that we can and often
are causing the amazing wildlife. We really have so much power and
there is no shift in this power foreseen in the future which makes
teaching the next generations of the utmost importance. Teaching
the future and protecting the present as much as we can is a looming
and difficult task, but our success in the rehabilitation of the
whooping crane is a perfect example that we, as humans, really can
save the precious wildlife on this earth. There might be a tendency
to be overwhelmed at times, but we can never stop pushing ahead and
appreciating every success that we achieve.
