Humans encounter borders wherever they go.  A border might simply be a fence around a yard, it could be a boundary that separate two nations.  Many animals, especially birds, travel across the same borders that we do, but they experience them in very different ways.  Birds donít need passports or luggage; they travel freely in search of food and places to rest.  Unfortunately, they are unknowingly subject to the different laws of each state or country that they enter.  In order to protect these magnificent creatures, we need to make sure they are all protected under the same laws.
