Beaver Island State Park

Habitat: Mainly young hardwood forest and great views of the Niagara River.
Trails: Some worn out trails and a couple of paved road along the shore of the River that is excellent for scoping birds out on the water.
Birds: Many water fowl especially in the winter especially migrating duck species such as Long-tailed Duck, Scoters, and other species such as Tundra swan and also many gull species.
Directions: Out of Buffalo take the 190 out to the Grand Island Bridge. Then take the exit to Beaver Island South Parkway/ South Parkway.
