Braddock Bay Wildlife Observatory

Habitat: A mixed shrub land/woodland next to the coast of Lake Ontario.

 

Trails: Thin and narrow unpaved and not stoned.

 Birds: Great habitat for warblers and thrushes. When on the shore there are many places both in Braddock Bay and nearby that will accommodate birding by scope.
Directions:

From Buffalo take the I-90 E towards Rochester, Then take exit 47 onto the I-490 E towards the NY-19/Leroy/Rochester, Then that exit 9A to merge onto NY-390 N toward Greece. The keep left to merge onto Lake Ontario State Parkway, and take the E Manitou Road exit toward Braddock Bay Park.

Information: Need to contact Braddock Bay before walking trails because this area is an active bird banding station (contact number- (585)-234-3525)
