Tifft Nature Preserve

  Habitat: Tifft Nature Preserve contains a couple of different types of habitat including grasslands, new growth forest as well as a prominent wetlands near the shoreline of Lake Erie.
  Trails: Trails are generally well kept dirt paths with a couple of nice boardwalks for marsh viewing that also include blinds.
Birds: A full range of common passerines as well as some grassland specialty birds. Also a variety of marshland birds including Canada Geese, Wood Duck and American Coot.
Directions:
  Information: Recently there has been a small group of Common Loon released in at Tifft Nature Preserve so keep a look out for these birds. Also, invasive red ants and nettle have been found, so observe some caution when walking these trails.
