Rainforest Advocacy

In the summertime, the Canisius Ambassadors for Conservation advocate conservation of tropical rainforest during our presentations of free public tours of the Rainforest Falls exhibit at the Buffalo Zoological Gardens.  Parallels are drawn between the wildlife and ecology of Western New York with the wildlife and ecology of South America.  Actions that we can all take to be better citizens of the earth are encouraged. 

To date, 2,000 Buffalo Zoo patrons have attended our Rainforest Advocacy tours at the Buffalo Zoo.
