CAC Wetlands
Education
In the springtime, the Canisius
Ambassadors for Conservation present day-long programs
focused upon wetlands ecology and bird migration.
The programs include wetlands tours on an elevated board
walk trail at Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge.
They end with exciting "wildlife games" that test the
participants knowledge of the lessons learned in the
field. Learning while having fun in the outdoors!
Hard to beat that combination!
To date, 5,300 children and
teachers have participated in our Wetlands Education
programs.
