I believe that many people, myself included, are determined to make great things happen in our lives and great things happen for the surrounding world. What Iíve come to find is that this is a great way to live, but sometimes we need to step back and realize we are minuscule. We may do brilliant things but we will never nearly master time like the Giant Sequoias, we will never be able to shape-shift like the coast-line of California, and we will never know what it feels like to gently glide through the ocean for thousands and thousands of miles every year like the grey whales. We can be great, although we are forever small in comparison to worldly wonders and natural beauties.
