I am sad to say
that we are having the same problems in
Indonesia as well.
So much of the rainforest here is being
burned to the ground.
I get so scared when I see the horrible
fires in the forest!
Because so many trees have been lost, the
amount of CO2 being put into the atmosphere is
more than in being taken out.
As the dead vegetation is decaying, it
also releases CO2.
It makes me so frustrated that logging
companies, plantation developers, and
governments allow this to happen.
So many innocent animals are dying
because of deforestation, as well as its harmful
effects on all of us around the world.
I think it is our responsibility to take
a stand so this does not continue into our
future!
