When you recycle paper, trees are saved. They really are! Whether you are in school or working in an office, we all can participate in preserving forests by recycling paper

and being aware of our use of paper products.

If your community or school does not have a recycling program, educate yourself and take a stand in developing one. Most places are not opposed to such ideas, they just need someone to get them started.

Most importantly, whenever you have a choice, utilize products made from recycled paper -- even if it costs a little more! It is simply not enough to put your waste paper into the recycle bin. We have to also complete the circle by buying the paper back when it is returns to the marketplace. If we all begin to demand paper products made from recycled goods, the costs will decrease and trees will be saved in the process.
